Trained at: Marine Corps Depot, San Diego. Ca.
Qualified as: Telephone / Communications Tech.
Theater of Operations: Pacific= Guadalcanal; Tarawa; Saipan; Tinian,(where he contracted Malaria).
Total Time Served: 4 years, Honorably Discharged March 1946.
Decorations: Presidential Unit Citation; Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon w/3 Stars; American Campaign Ribbon; W.W.II Victory Ribbon; Good Conduct; Honorable Service Button. 
Present Occupation: Retired.
Lives in Oberlin, Married to Lois Jordan of Cheyenne, Wyoming. They have one son, John Lamb Jr. & His wife, Francheska living in Topeka, Ks.
            Jack is a 53 Year Member of the American Legion; Lifetime Member of the 2nd Marine Division; and a Lifetime Member of the V.F.W.

Final muster.. Jack is laid to rest, awaiting the final roll call
at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Ne.
